Happy Holidays everyone! As always, I have done a poor job of keeping up with my blog…but as the new year approaches, I will put it on the list of things to improve in 2010.
To update: I am now living in North Carolina and have been offered a position with a brand new dance company called Winston Salem Festival Ballet. In addition, I have also been offered a full time position teaching and choreographing in the area. The company is just getting on its feet and it’s incredible to be a founding member of a company that I believe in and encourage the direction of. I am also doing a lot of guest artist work in local shows and teaching many new kids contemporary, jazz, and ballet. Things are going wonderfully and I’m truly enjoying living in this beautiful state and working with this company!
As the holidays wrap up and I make sure to hit the gym a lot before returning to start rehearsals for our next show…I’m constantly reminded of where I was a year ago and what a blessing this year has been in growing and challenging me. Many new people have entered my life and I am so thankful for their presence. May 2010 be a year of more growth and development of the kind of person, dancer, and choreographer I strive to be.
Many blessings to all and I hope you have had a pleasant and safe holiday season!
