to Pittsburgh…again
Greetings!
Apologies for the long delay in my posting.
I just recently did a project with a start-up company called Dance Theatre of Pittsburgh, under the brilliant direction of Kiesha Lalama-White. We performed this weekend in Altoona, PA for the Grier Gala with a few other companies: Fluidity Dance Company, Houston Met, Jason Parsons, J. Compagnia, Lehrer Dance Company, and Synthesis Dance Project. It was a fantastic event and Dance Theatre of Pittsburgh gave an outstanding debut performance.
So, after 4 years of college in the city of Pittsburgh, I was thrilled to be returning and excited to be apart of a project for this brand new dance company (that I believe eventually will be ground breaking for Pittsburgh when able to be fully funded and get it’s feet on the ground). As for now, the company is on hold until the economy and things shape up; however, it was a wonderful experience with incredible dancers and many memories.
